Cloderm is used to treat skin diseases such as psoriasis and any moderate to severe manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses either inflammatory or pruritic. It contains Clobetasol propionate which reduces the signs and symptoms of inflammation such as itchiness, redness, pain, and swelling. Cloderm is commonly used to treat dermatoses but it also has different indications such as psoriasis, corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses, itchiness, skin swelling, skin redness,and skin dryness. This list is incomplete and there might be other uses and indications of Cloderm. Do not take this medication even though someone you know with same symptoms is taking it. Besides the uses, people who are taking Cloderm may also develop certain side effects, such as burning sensation, skin irritation, acneiform eruptions, skin maceration, hypopigmentation, skin atrophy, striae formation, milaria, and adrenal cortex hyperactivity.
